A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS HANDS-ON TRAINING WORKSHOP
On behalf of our institution, Our In-house Journal named Global Journal of Health Sciences and Research in Collaboration with Department of Community Medicine of Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital. We have conducted the “Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis Hands-on Training Workshop for our Editors and Faculties of Our Institution on following dates27.06.23, 10to12th July. The Resources Person are Dr.P.Sanjay (Editor-in-Chief), Dr.G.Kalaiselvan (Dean Research), Department of Community Medicine, Dr.Reena Mohan, Assistant Editor, Department of Community Medicine and Dr. Jenifer Florence Mary Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Pillayarkuppam, and Puducherry. The Resource Person are trained the Editors by Topics of Introduction to the Systematic Review, Rayyan Software, Data Extraction and ROB Analysis , Data Analysis using “Rev Man 5”to the Editors of Our Journal.
2 nd Systematic Review & Meta-analysis hands on training workshop

Target audience: 28 faculties and Postgraduates from various departments of SMVMCH

Department of Community Medicine in Collaboration with Global Journal of Health and Scientific Research of SMVMCH conducted a 4 days workshop on Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (SRMA) workshop . Dr.Jennifer Florence Mary , Assistant Professor from Department of Community Medicine ,MGMC&RI and Dr.Reenaa Mohan , Assistant Professor from Department of Community Medicine , SMVMCH were the resource persons for the workshop. Faculties from various departments like Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopedics,Paediatrics ,ICMR scientists and Postgraduates from department of Community Medicine participated in the workshop. Title selection, Search strategy using PICOT, Articles screening using Rayyan software , Data extraction , Data Analysis in Revman software and SRMA article drafting were elaborated in the workshop. Hands on training for articles searching in Pubmed, Google scholar, Cochrane , articles screening using Rayyan , Data analysis using Revman and various checklist for Risk of bias assessment were taught in the program. The participants were divided into teams of two members and were encouraged to draft an SRMA articles at the end of the session.
