Abstract

Rhabdomyolysis is a life threatening condition leading to kidney damage and renal failure . Acute renal failure complicates 10 to 67 % cases of rhabdomyolysis and is an important cause of mortality. Rfiabdomyolysis is usually caused by trauma , crush injury, drugs and toxins, muscle hypoxia, hereditary muscle enzyme defects, metabolic and endocrine disorders, infections and temperature alterations severe physical exertion.

DISC USSION : Only 5% of cases of Hodgkin’s lymphoma may develop spinal cord compression. In only 0.2% cases, cord compression is the initial presentation. Hodgkin’s lymphoma involving the epidural space is very responsive to radiation therapy and chemotherapy, with a good prognosis for both functional recovery (86%), complete response (61%) and long-term survival.
